It turns out the homeowner also had a weapon and returned fire, killing the man.
Police have questioned the homeowner. So far, no charges have been filed.
Apparent fight over money turns deadly in SE Houston
HOUSTON
It started at a home on Berry near Burkett. Police say the victim was staying at the home and accused people inside of taking some of his money. Then he left the home, returned with a gun and shot at the people inside the house.
