Business owner shot to death during robbery attempt

HOUSTON The suspects are wanted in the death of Armando Alcantara. Alcantara, 47, is the owner AA Roofing Supply Warehouse. Two armed men demanded money, shot him numerous times and then fled the scene in a pickup truck driven by a third suspect. Alcantara suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Composite sketches were created for two suspects, both Hispanic men. Both menhad light complexions and spoke with a Central American accent.

The first suspect is described as being in his mid 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds and wearing a black baseball cap, blue striped polo shirt and unknown color pants.

The second suspect is described as being in his mid 20s, 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-5 inches tall, weighing 130 to 140 pounds, with black hair, and wearing a charcoal gray hoodie sweatshirt with unknown color pants.

There is no description on a third suspect, who was driving the getaway vehicle. The vehicle is a 1994-97 red Chevrolet S-10, regular cab pickup truck. It had a chrome grill and no license plates.
