Man critically injured after being shot in neck

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX Detectives say 25-year-old Durell Watt shot his brother-in-law in the neck after the two got into a fight at Watt's home in the 17000 block of Mercado Drive. Watt then drove off in a red 1998 Lincoln Navigator with a Mississippi license plate No. JPX-634.

Weather conditions prevented a medical helicopter from transporting the 21-year-old victim, so he was taken via ambulance to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Watt is now wanted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
