Police: Teen confessed to killing great-grandma

HOUSTON On October 1, Alleen Willis, 90, was found dead in her bed at her home on Cherrybark. Concerned family members went to the home to check on her because they hadn't heard from her in a couple of days. Although it was initially thought that Willis had died of natural causes, an autopsy determined she had been strangled.

Police investigated Willis' great-grandson Quincy Lee Johnson, Jr., who had recently moved in with her. On Wednesday, October 13, Johnson was arrested and police say he confessed his involvement in his great-grandmother's death.

Johnson, 17, has been charged with capital murder.
