Man found beaten to death in Heights residence

HOUSTON The victim, Rigoberto Orellana, 18, suffered blunt trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene in the 1100 block of Nicholson about 1pm Thursday.

Police say patrol officers responded to the residence and found Orellana inside, deceased. He had been severely beaten.

There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time.
