Armed man in San Antonio restaurant surrenders

A standoff at a San Antonio restaurant has ended peacefully less than two hours after it began. A man who was holed up with a gun surrendered to SWAT officers who had surrounded the Taqueria Vallarta Mexican Restaurant and Seafood.

Owner Alejandro Galvan said the man walked into the restaurant just after it opened at 6 a.m. and offered marijuana to employees. Galvan said the man pointed the gun at his own head but never threatened him or his employees.

People were evacuated from the area. No one was injured.
