Reward offered in stolen debit card case

HOUSTON Back on January 21, the victim's car was broken into and his backpack stolen. Inside the backpack was his debit card, along with other identifying information.

Investigators say a suspect deposited a counterfeit check for more than $5,000 into the victim's bank account. They say next, she went to the HEB at 1550 Fry Road and used the victim's debit card to withdraw money to purchase money orders. Then she went to an ATM at the Bank of America across the street from the HEB and tried to take additional money out of the victim's bank account. While at the ATM she was captured on video using the victim's debit card.
