'Dancing with the Stars' new cast announced

HOUSTON 'Dancing' host Tom Bergeron and Melissa Rycroft made the announcement on ABC during 'The Bachelor' finale.

The celebrities dancing in the tenth season are:

  • Pamela Anderson - Former "Baywatch" actress. She joins professional dancer Damian Whitewood, who makes his "Dancing with the Stars" debut this season.
  • Chad Ochocinco - Wide receiver for the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals. He teams up with two-time champion Cheryl Burke, who returns for her ninth season
  • Aiden Turner - Soap opera star, teams with Edyta Sliwinska, who is the only pro to compete in all 10 seasons of "Dancing with the Stars."
  • Erin Andrews - ESPN host, teams with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who returns for his eighth season
  • Shannen Doherty - Former "Beverly Hills 90210" actress. She teams up with two-time "Dancing with the Stars" champ Mark Ballas, who returns for his sixth season.
  • Buzz Aldrin - Legendary astronaut, partners up with Ashly Costa (formerly DelGrosso), who returns for her fourth season.
  • Niecy Nash - "Reno 911" comedienne and host, teams up with Louis Van Amstel, who returns for his sixth season
  • Nicole Scherzinger - Singer for the Pussycat Dolls. She teams with Season 7 champ Derek Hough, who returns for his sixth season
  • Evan Lysacek - Olympic gold medal figure skater. He teams with Anna Trebunskaya, who returns for her fifth season
  • Kate Gosselin - Reality TV star, teams with Tony Dovolani, who returns for his ninth season
  • Jake Pavelka - Star of ABC's "The Bachelor" joins Chelsie Hightower, who returns for her third season

ABC kicks off the tenth season of the hit reality series "Dancing with the Stars" with a huge two-hour premiere on Monday, March 22, starting at 7pm. The all-star cast of celebrities and their professional dance partners will hit the floor with two hours of dancing. Hosted by Tom Bergeron ("America's Funniest Home Videos"), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba, who all return for their tenth season together.

In week two, all of the couples will return and try to outshine each other once again in a two-hour show on Monday, March 29 at 7pm. The team with the lowest combined judges' scores and public votes for both performances will be eliminated from the competition on the first results show on Tuesday, March 30 at 7pm.
