Entertainment galore in Free Stuff Friday

HOUSTON March 2, 1836 was the date the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed and, in celebration, Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q will offer its customers a chance to purchase a quarter pound of its famous brisket for just 32 cents. Just drop by March 2 between 2pm and 4pm. The 32 cents collected will be donated directly to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. The special offer is limited to one per customer and available at the Rudy's located off 290 in northwest Houston and another Rudy's located in Spring.

  • If you'd rather go out for a movie- check out the free screening of the new movie "She's Out of My League." The movie is about an airport security agent who cannot believe his luck when a beautiful girl falls for him.     If your kiddos need a new spring wardrobe, check out the "Just Between Friends" consignment sale in Pearland next week. The sale is like a huge garage sale -- toys, clothes and baby gear are just some of the many items on consignment. The sale starts next Thursday at the VFW in Pearland and it's free to attend. More sales are planned for other parts of Houston next month.
