The favorite to win the downhill turned in the fastest time of the morning training session, but it came with a cost. Vonn says the "bumpy" and "jarring" downhill course didn't do her badly bruised shin any favors, calling it "probably the worst course for my shin."
Vonn said she hopes Tuesday's downhill training is postponed by weather -- giving the shin another day to heal.
