Vietnamese veterans honored in Bellaire

HOUSTON Veterans who served in both the American and Vietnamese armies marched by the Vietnam veterans monument on Bellaire near Wilcrest. The parade opened with a man in a cage to symbolize what organizers feel is the oppression of the Vietnamese people.

The crowd waved flags of pre-communist Vetnam.
