Traveling Vietnam Wall comes to Pasadena

A traveling tribute to the Americans who lost their lives in the Vietnam War is making a stop in Pasadena this weekend.The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington. It was created for those who can't make the trip to the nation's capital.

The monument is being displayed at Grand View Memorial Park on Spencer Highway starting today. It will be there all weekend.

Activities and ceremonies planned in conjunction with the exhibition include the following:

The opening ceremony will take place at 10am today.

A POW/MIA Table of Remembrance ceremony will begin at 7pm tomorrow, followed by a candlelight ceremony at 7:30pm.

The closing ceremony is set for 2pm Sunday.

The three-day exhibition is sponsored locally by Grand View Funeral Home and Memorial Park with support from American Legion Post 521.
