Man accused of sexually assaulting five year old

SAN ANTONIO, TX Police said 38-year-old Michael Sanchez was in the Bexar County Jail Friday under a $100,000 bond. A jail official told The Associated Press Saturday she could not confirm whether Sanchez was still there or if he had an attorney.

The mother of the girl told police that she allowed Sanchez to spend the night on June 20 because he was intoxicated. She said he slept in her bed with the child next to them.

The arrest warrant affidavit said the girl allegedly woke her mother up in the middle of the night to tell her that Sanchez had assaulted her.
