SW Houston homeowners calling for change

August 12, 2009 5:43:31 AM PDT
Homeowners in a southwest Houston neighborhood say they need guardrails to prevent more accidents like the one that proved deadly yesterday. Early yesterday morning, an SUV smashed into a home on Harwin near Boone. A 16-year-old in the SUV died. Everyone in the house was OK, though the SUV almost hit a boy sitting at a computer.

Neighbors say at least three people have died in similar crashes over the past year. They want the city to install guardrails to keep residents and drivers safe.
