Man robs bank in surgical mask, gloves

LAKE JACKSON, TX The robbery happened Monday at around 1:30pm the bank on Highway 332 West. The gunman entered the bank with a black semi-automatic pistol and ordered everyone inside to get down or get back. He then jumped the counter and demanded the keys to open the teller drawers.

After being provided with the keys, the gunman helped himself to the cash. After placing the money inside a backpack he brought into the bank, he took off and was last seen running across the parking lot of the bank towards a Sears Department Store. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The gunman is described as a white male, approximately 5'8" to 5'9"tall, 160-170 pounds with a medium build. He had strawberry blonde hair which was cut in a short style with tapered sides. He wore blue jeans, a blue sweatshirt, white sneakers, a black baseball cap with a white or tan brim, white gloves, and a white surgical mask during the hold-up.
