Big brawl breaks out outside nightclub

It all happened around 2:45am at the Club Motion off FM 1960 and Highway 59 in the Humble area.

When authorities arrived, they found about 50 to 100 people in the parking lot, many of whom were trying to leave, including the driver of a car who allegedly hit and dragged a man several feet. The victim was taken to the hospital.

"The medics on the scene decided it was necessary to Life Flight him," said Sgt. Mike Nansel with Humble Police Department.

That man is currently listed as stable and is expected to undergo surgery for his injuries.

Authorities are still investigating what started the incident. Detectives detained several people for questioning. The driver of the vehicle was also taken into custody.
