The university says Dr. Gustavo Wensjoe and his nine-month-old son, Julian, died in a car crash Thursday. His wife is in a hospital following the wreck.

Dr. Wensjoe was the Director of International Studies at University of St. Thomas. He'd been at the school since 1994.

Students were signing a wall in his honor Saturday. A memorial service is planned at the campus on Thursday.
