Police: 'Move over or slow down'

The law passed in 2003 requires drivers to vacate the lane closest to any emergency vehicle or slow down to 20 miles per hour below the posted speed limit. Police officers with Houston and Sugar Land as well as area deputies and constables will be out looking for violators all week.

Violators can be ticketed between $200 and $500.
