One dead in bar love triangle shooting

Just after 2am, Zenon Gonzalez, 38, called 911 from the Mi San Luis Bar on Aldine Westfield. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Department, Gonzalez told the 911 operator that he had shot his wife, Belia Gonzalez, 40, as well as the man Gonzalez believed she was romantically involved with before shooting himself.

When deputies arrived at the scene, the door to the bar was locked. They were able to make telephone contact with Gonzalez, who unlocked the door and surrendered to deputies.

Gonzalez suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he is in serious but stable condition.

Inside the bar, deputies located Belia Gonzalez. She had been shot multiple times. Belia Gonzalez was flown by Life Flight to the hospital, where she is in critical but stable condition.

Deputies located the body of a 33-year-old Hispanic male in the back of the club. The male had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Zenon Gonzalez is in the custody of the Harris County Sheriff's Office. He faces a charge of murder and a charge of aggravated assault.
