Jail escapee caught in Dallas

DALLAS, TX KXAS-TV reports 21-year-old Gregory Donald was in custody Friday morning after being captured hours earlier at his girlfriend's apartment.

Authorities say the inmate jumped from a van Tuesday while being returned to the jail in Fort Worth after spending time in a drug treatment program in Mansfield.

Donald was serving four years probation on a 2006 aggravated assault conviction when he was arrested in May on a failure to appear in court in a drug case.
