Galveston's Shriners Hospital to re-open

The hospital received a $120,000 donation from Devon Energy to repair some of the damage caused by Hurricane Ike. It will begin accepting patients when critical repairs are complete. No date has been set. The hospital provides treatment for children's burn injuries.

Patients at the hospital before Ike hit were flown to other hospitals. Some had to be taken to San Antonio.
