'Dirty Dozen' bank robbers wanted

HOUSTON Between September 10, 2008 and November 14, 2008, 27 bank robberies have occurred in the greater Houston area. Authorities say these robbers are armed and becoming more dangerous. Crime Stoppers has put together a list of 12 that need to be identified, charged and arrested.

The number one suspect is the Point Blank Bandit, who is responsible for four of the bank robberies that occurred during this time period. He is extremely dangerous and always holds a hostage during his robberies. Crime Stoppers and private sources are offering up to a $20,000 reward on him.

The number two suspect is the Note Passer. He is responsible for five of the robberies. He always passes a note and asks for his money to be in 20's 50's and 100's. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward on him.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline that leads to the identification, charging or arrest of any of these bank robbers. Tips may also be submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org. All tipsters remain anonymous.
