A fiery wreck in East Texas killed two brothers who apparently were driving to school. The Department of Public Safety says the siblings died in the accident about one mile south of Brownsboro. DPS identifies the victims as 15-year-old Nicholas and 16-year-old Aaron Cummings. Both were football players and honor students in Brownsboro.

Authorities say the older boy was driving when one of the pickup's wheels went off the road, causing the vehicle to go out of control.

Trooper Joshua Jenkins says their truck was northbound on FM 314 and wrecked onto an embankment.

Brownsboro is a town of about 900, located 80 miles southeast of Dallas.
