Feud between two women ends in gunfire

A woman is in critical condition after allegedly being shot by her neighbor in northwest Houston. Investigators say the shooting was the result of an ongoing feud between the two women that began two days ago. Around 9pm Monday, the women got into an argument in one of their driveways on Chipman near Dyna. The argument eventually boiled over into a fist fight.

"After the fist fight, a woman pulled out a gun and shot the other," said Sgt. J. Rubio with the Houston Police Department.

The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital to undergo surgery. The shooter was arrested. Investigators are now interviewing witnesses.
