One killed, six injured in Brazoria Co. wrecks

BRAZORIA COUNTY, TX In one accident, investigators say a pickup truck was going northbound on the southbound lanes of 288 near County Road 58. He slammed head-on into a second truck with a woman and a man inside. The woman died on impact. The two men were taken to the hospital in serious condition. Both will be tested for alcohol.

A second crash in Brazoria County sent four people, including a four-year-old child, to the hospital.

We're told a pickup truck driving on FM 1462 crossed the middle lane, slamming into a car. Two women and that four-year-old child were inside the car. The child was flown by Life Flight to the hospital in critical condition. The two women were also flown to the hospital in serious condition. The truck driver was also hurt.
