Astros to host 2008 Fanfest on Saturday

HOUSTON FanFest events, which starts at 9am, will take place throughout Minute Maid Park. They include autograph and photo sessions by current Astros players and alumni including Craig Biggio.

Also, there will be Talkin' Baseball seminars with Astros broadcasters, front office staff, and Astros wives, a baseball card and memorabilia show, and informational activities and booths throughout the Main Concourse level.

Face painters, clowns, and balloon artists are a few of the free fun activities for kids.

FanFest will end at the conclusion of the exhibition game between the Astros and Tigers. Admission to FanFest is free with the purchase of a game ticket. Additional fees apply for the autograph sessions, with all proceeds benefiting the Astros in Action Foundation.
