Two polls have different leaders in Iowa

A CNN-Opinion Research poll shows a statistical tie between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama, with Clinton slightly ahead. On the Republican side, the poll also shows a tight race between Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney, with Romney slightly ahead.

A survey by The Des Moines Register shows Huckabee with a six-point lead over Romney, and Obama with seven-point lead over Clinton.

The newspaper's poll also has John Edwards in a tight race with Clinton for second place. But Edwards is well behind Clinton and Obama in the CNN poll.
