A new golden Willy Wonka lottery ticket gives you a shot at a billion dollars, there's just one catch -- you have to lose.
This big $10 scratch off appropriately comes with a chance to win the biggest prize the Texas Lottery has to offer, but it has left some people a little confused.
If players win in any of the three sections of the scratch-off game, they are not eligible to win the huge cash prize.
So, if you want to win, you have to lose.
According to the Dallas Morning News, the Texas Lottery is able to afford the massive jackpot payout because the game is run out of Las Vegas and includes 11 other states.
The Texas Lottery will pick 20 winners from the Lone Star State, who will get an all-expense paid trip to Sin City to participate in the billion-dollar contest.
And while losing may seem more appealing, the ticket offers scratch-off winners a top prize of $250,000.
