HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Fall-ish front is on track to move through Saturday. Strong northeast winds behind it will give us sunshine, lower humidity, and slightly cooler temps this weekend. The tropical low that has been giving us heavy downpours all week is set to return next week, potentially as a tropical storm. An ABC13 Weather Watch has been issued for Tuesday and Wednesday.

We are predicting lows in the mid-to-upper 60s Sunday and Monday mornings! You'll first notice the northeast wind dropping the humidity in a big way Saturday evening. This front will bring some major humidity relief, but it now looks like the the relief will be short-lived as tropical moisture starts to push back in on Monday.
In addition to the low pressure just offshore from Texas, we are also closely monitoring a tropical wave over the western Caribbean. It has a low chance of development once it reaches the Bay of Campeche early next week, but it will combine its moisture with the low pressure near Texas. This moisture will pull north toward Texas and Louisiana to bring back higher rain chances with the possibility of flooding around Tuesday and Wednesday. There's also a chance for tropical development so those days have been designated as Weather Alert Days. Head to our daily Tropical Update page for the latest on what's happening in the tropics.
