In an apparent smash-and-grab robbery attempt, a pickup truck backed into a wall at a gun training and shooting business this morning in west Houston.

It happened around 5:25am. The truck is still on the scene at Top Gun Texas, and a large hole is in the wall of the business in the 5900 block of Beverly Hill near Fountain View.

The truck has rear-end damage, as does a second white pickup truck parked nearby. Houston police say it's possible the vehicles were stolen.

No guns were taken from the business, but ammunition may have been taken. The investigation is still ongoing.

No one is in custody.

The owner of the store tells Eyewitness News the store will be open today.
