Train carrying plastics derails in rail yard

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A train derailment is under investigation in southeast Houston at the BNSF Railway South Yard.

Crews on scene tell Eyewitness News the train was carrying plastics when it derailed inside the rail yard.

No one was hurt and no chemicals were spilled. BNSF says the main line was not affected.

BNSF is now working to rerail the cars. It's still unclear what caused the derailment.
