Tattoo shop offering $40 Texas tattoos

LIBERTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A tattoo shop in Liberty has a unique way of helping victims of Hurricane Harvey, while promoting Texas pride and unity.

Yahweh Approved Tattoo Shop is described as a family-owned Christian shop. The company is offering $40 Texas tattoos, with $5 from each tattoo going to a local family affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The store's owners are hoping to spotlight the efforts of their community in the face of this devastating natural disaster. They say in four days they've already done at least 50 Texas tattoos, including individuals from other states who're here to help in the recovery effort.

A limited number of designs are being offered as part of the fundraising promotion.
