PLANTERSVILLE, TX -- Step back in time on weekends in October and November, at the Texas Renaissance Festival near Plantersville, Texas. You'll find everything from jousting tournaments and parades to music and comedy acts. Costumes set the stage for fun, limited only by creativity.

The Texas Renaissance Festival opens the gates Saturdays and Sundays and on the Friday following Thanksgiving. The 2014 season runs through November 30th, from 9am to 8pm. Various themes are highlighted on the different weekends, to bring another dimension to the festival.

The Texas Renaissance Festival is celebrating 40 years of entertainment and merriment in their wooded festival grounds north of Magnolia.
