NEW YORK -- A crane collapsed on the Tappan Zee Bridge closing all lanes shortly before noon on Tuesday.
Rescue crews were seen assisting at least two people, but there was no immediate word of any other injuries.
It did not appear any vehicles were pinned under the crane, which was being used to work on the new Tappan Zee Bridge.
Images from NewsCopter 7 showed debris across the highway and traffic backed up for miles.
