A man is behind bars after Humble police say they spotted him driving a car fitted with police decals.
Investigators said police arrested a man who allegedly pretended to be an ICE agent while committing a robbery in west Houston.
"One hand on the wheel, the other one pointing the firearm at me before he set it down on his dashboard," the man said. Cell phone video shows the confrontation that followed.
A credit manager at the dealership attempted to confirm the cosigner's information that the suspect was using and discovered he had not been given permission to use it. An FBI badge was also found on him during his arrest.
Investigators said when the detention officer was arrested, he reeked of alcohol and appeared intoxicated. He has now been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
According to officials, the man was being "belligerent and aggressive," and the Uber driver requested that he get out of her car. Investigators say he requested the service without payment while he allegedly acted as an FBI agent.
