Bush Airport officials said the biggest impacts to traffic will occur overnight.


HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The westbound lanes of Will Clayton Parkway near George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) will be closed for repairs starting on Tuesday, airport officials said.
In a social media post, IAH officials said the roadway would be closed from Aug. 25 to Aug. 28. Authorities warned that the biggest impacts to traffic will be overnight.
Airport officials explained that the closure is due to concrete repairs on the roadway.
Officials advised travelers to plan ahead, adding that JFK Boulevard will serve as an alternate route.
