Fire at Hobby Lobby store sparks arson investigation, Tomball PD says

TOMBALL, Texas (KTRK) -- An arson investigation is underway after a fire at a Hobby Lobby store in Tomball, police said.
According to the Tomball Police Department, firefighters were called to the store in the 27700 block of Tomball Parkway around 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Images shared by TPD show the aftermath of a small fire that burned merchandise in a store aisle. The floor was wet with water and ash, and there were black burn scars on the ceiling and a store fixture.
There were no reports of any injuries due to the fire.
TPD did not share any information about a potential suspect but is urging any member of the public who witnessed suspicious activity, saw a person in the area around the time of the fire, or has information regarding the person responsible to contact the detective on the case at 281-290-1370.
