The stolen items were from Walgreens and CVS stores in the San Antonio area.


WALLER COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Two wanted persons were taken into custody after a traffic stop led to the discovery of cosmetics and cannabis inside the suspects' vehicle.
According to the Waller County Sheriff's Office, Flock cameras were used to search for a suspect vehicle after a tip from the Sealy Police Department.
Deputies were able to stop the suspects' car and found marijuana and a large amount of cosmetic merchandise that was believed to be stolen.

Images shared by the sheriff's office showed a bag filled with unopened cosmetics.
After the discovery, WCSO said two occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.
The investigation following the traffic stop revealed that the two suspects had 11 outstanding warrants from multiple law enforcement agencies across Texas, according to WCSO.
Investigators said the probe also revealed that more than 700 items recovered were believed to have been stolen from several Walgreens and CVS stores in the San Antonio area. WCSO said the items were worth about $9,600 and that the merchandise was processed for return to the stores.
The sheriff's office said it was committed to investigating organized criminal activity and recovering stolen property.
