CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) -- FBI Houston has increased its reward to up to $50,000 for information regarding a fire in Cypress where three people were found murdered in 2024, the agency announced on Tuesday in coordination with Crime Stoppers of Houston and the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a report of a house fire in the 14600 block of Plains River Drive on Aug. 18, 2024. Inside were the bodies of Kelly Masciarelli, her son Kolin Foster, and his girlfriend Cameryn Richard.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said it was determined that the victims all suffered trauma and were dead before the fire, which officials said they believe was set intentionally.
"Unfortunately, we have seen this before where an individual will commit murder and then start a fire to cover their tracks," Sgt. Michael Ritchie with HCSO said.

No one was immediately arrested following the discovery.
Initially, surveillance video showed a person described as tall and muscular getting into an all-black sedan driven by another person near the home, investigators said.
"Even the smallest piece of information could be critical to this investigation,” Gonzalez said. “If you know something, please come forward. These families deserve answers.”
