Suspects slam truck into courthouse in botched attempt to steal ATM

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- When some thieves tried to steal an ATM, they picked an unusual target for the smash-and-grab crime -- a courthouse.

The crime happened at the Harris County Precinct 2 courthouse in Pasadena.

Police tell us a truck smashed into the courthouse on South Richey Road Saturday night.

The suspects tried to get the ATM, but as you can see from the photos, they didn't get away with the machine.
