HOUSTON (KTRK) -- La Bare Houston is known for chiseled bodies and Texas-sized sex appeal, but last night's performers were a little more mature.
"The music starts and, unlike the hunks I expected, out comes the wheelchair brigade," laughed 88-year-old Esther Weinstein as residents of a nearby nursing home took the stage dressed as The Village People.
The joke started a few months ago, when the ladies crashed a party the men were holding at Hooters.
"We dressed up in our Hooter outfits with our big balloons," said 86-year-old Loretta Roman. "Anyway, that's beside the point. They had been looking for a way to get back at us."
No question -- the men got them back!
"The only way I would consider doing it again is having them talk to my agent," laughed 95-year-old Naman Lipinsky.
