Katy Fire Department chief makes final call to mark end of career

KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- A Katy Fire Department chief made his final call Thursday after a 20-year career protecting the community.

Chief Richard Payne's final call was posted on the department's Facebook page.

"Congratulations on your retirement! We wish you all the best Richard Payne!" the department posted.
