ABC-13 & You

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- ABC-13 is celebrating 60 years of serving the greater Houston area, and to mark that milestone, we are introducing a new community initiative called "ABC13 & You."

Having an active role in our community has been a part of ABC-13's mission since we signed on the air in November of 1954 with a live Houston Symphony concert. Sixty years later, that mission remains the same.

Year after year, ABC-13 is proud to bring you complete coverage of events big and small in our city, including the Chevron Houston Marathon, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and our city's July 4th Celebration, Freedom Over Texas.

From our annual Share Your Holidays Food Drive, Operation Backpack, Community Blood and Bone Marrow Drives to our Caring Cradles city-wide baby shower, ABC-13 proudly works alongside you to create awareness and help those less fortunate.

Whether we are raising awareness about hunger and birth defects or showcasing the many local festivals and celebrations...we've always done it with you by our side.
