RICHMOND, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities in Fort Bend County are asking for the public's help to find a man who tried to attach a debit card "skimming" device to an ATM at a gas station in late October. A $5,000 reward is being offered in the case.

A store employee says a man tried to connect the device on October 29, at a Valero station in the 3000 block of Plantation Drive. The employee said the man ran when he was caught in the act.

Authorities say the suspect is believed to be an Asian or Hispanic male, mid-20s to early-30s, and has a medium build. The male suspect was wearing a white "Bronx" hat, black framed glasses and white pants with a bandana secured around his waist.
