HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two people were injured during a shooting at the V Live Club in southwest Houston.
Officers say Ricky Lunford was shot in the face and was taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive. His family says was in surgery Monday and lost one eye.
Lunford was at the club hoping to meet rapper Drake, his family said.
Police say there were 200 people inside of the club, located at Greenridge and Richmond, when the shooting happened at 4am.
Investigators say they have reports of multiple shooters and multiple victims.
A second victim was taken by a private vehicle to the hospital.
Officers are working to talk to witnesses and gather more information.
"Right now, we don't have any real good witnesses. We don't know who was shooting or why. We're attempting to get some witnesses to talk to us and once we do that we'll try to figure out what happened," said Lt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department.

Officers found shell casings outside in the parking lot.
There is no word whether rapper Drake was inside of the club at the time, but witnesses told 13 Eyewitness News that Drake was inside at one point during the evening.
Drake had a concert at the Toyota Center Sunday evening and people at the club say Drake was with his entourage at V Live for an after-party.
There are no suspects at the time.
