Student sexually assaulted at party on Rice University campus

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A female student was sexually assaulted by a male during a private party on the campus of Rice University just after midnight Saturday.

Rice University police say around 12:30am, the woman was sexually assaulted by a male that she didn't know.

Police conducted an investigation which lead to a suspect, who is a student. A crime alert was also issued.
