WASHINGTON (KTRK) -- A top military aide to U.S. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter was fired after he used a government-issued credit card at strip clubs.
That is the finding of a new Pentagon investigation released Thursday.
Investigators said Army Major General Ronald Lewis spent more than $1,000 at the Candy Bar strip club during a trip to Seoul, South Korea.
Lewis allegedly also left an 81 percent tip paid for with your tax dollars.
Female subordinates under Lewis reported unwelcome advances. The Defense Department says he engaged in conduct unbecoming of an officer and violated the military justice code.
In a statement, Lewis acknowledged he "made some of the mistakes," but disputes many of the report's findings.
