HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman was hospitalized after being intentionally hit by a driver near the North Freeway on Tuesday morning, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies said they responded to the 400 block of FM 1960 and found a woman who appeared to have been intentionally hit by an unknown driver.

The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition, deputies said.

Details are limited. So far, authorities have not released a description of a suspect or vehicle.
