HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Video shows several streets along Richmond Avenue, near the Southwest Freeway, are flooded Friday morning after what appears to be a water main break.

An ABC13 crew captured video of the floods before 9 a.m., which spanned approximately four blocks of Richmond Avenue, west of Chimney Rock Road.

Video also shows cars rolling through the high water.

A work crew was seen responding to the scene. According to the city's public works department, repairs are expected to be complete by 2 p.m.

ABC13 has reached out to the public works officials to find out why these particular blocks flooded and is awaiting an answer.
