Bayern Munich defeats Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup (3-1)

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Two of soccer's most storied franchises are in the Bayou City this weekend for a highly anticipated match-up.

NRG Stadium is hosting a match between international soccer powers, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, on July 20.

Real Madrid and FC Bayern Munich will face off Saturday night as part of the International Champions Cup.

The clash is part of the International Champions Cup, a multi-match exhibition putting some of the best clubs in Europe.

On Friday, ABC13 Sports caught up with both teams as they geared up for Saturday night's game.

Twelve clubs were tapped to play in 18 matches throughout July and August, between North America, Asia and Europe.

Tickets are still available for the clash between two of the most popular football clubs in the world.

Last month, Houston played host to 2019 Gold Cup quarterfinal matches that included the tournament's eventual champion Mexico.
